I think this forum is such an interesting place for social observations. One thing I find fascinating is how much more willing we are to overlook physical flaws when we know someone well/enjoy their company or some aspect of their personality.

If there's a girl on here and her picture is seen, I feel like there's an almost automatic "you're super hot" regardless of whether that's really true. Girls (and ladyboys) on Tinder/Bumble/whatnot are ripped apart for the smallest things, things that would totally be overlooked on probably any of the girls on this forum, or a girl you knew in real life and might be into.

I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer - I think it's great that you can put your thoughts out there, as brutally honest as they might be. Man, some of the shit that you guys tear some girls a new asshole for, though... you'd think they looked like a burn victim. Again, not trying to say I'm angelic or whatnot, but it's interesting to observe so closely. Carry on.

You're right though. It's also the freeze frame phenomenon. Everything looks different when you pore over it in stop motion. Most of the people ripped apart here would be gladly taken on a date by most of the people doing the ripping here (I suspect).
