Did someone say some ppl walked out after the first torture scene in the latest Saw? Man, I was expecting a lot more, it wasn't that bad.

After seeing that funky town craziness, anything is tame.

My friend walked out during the bone marrow scene. That was definitely one of the more uncomfortable scenes I've watched for Saw, the others were typical Saw, but I think it also has to do with this being 10yrs since I saw the last Saw movie, and the fact that the graphics and special effects look more real than ever, and it was a long scene too which just adds to the uncomfortableness. I still think this was definitely the best Saw since the original though.

Not sure, I don’t remember any other people in this thread watching Saw X but maybe. I know the eye trap scene has gotten a lot of the hype because of the teasers and posters, but to me the bone marrow one was much grosser and uncomfortable to watch.

I forget about Saw...do all the victims have it coming or were there ever any innocent ones?

Yes, Saw 3D (the original “Final” Saw), the final victim was the wife of a guy who lied about being in a trap, only to have to truly play the game because of his lies. She had no idea about his lies and died gruesomely in a brazen bull. Probably a few other ones as well, but that was the worst one.

Heartbreaking story about ruthless greed and gross injustice. Martin Scorsese portrayed the Osage people in a very respectful way. Greatest acting of the movie: IMHO Robert De Niro as the manipulative villain - monstrous in every sense of the word. It's gonna be a tough choice down at the Oscars for best male actor: Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), Robert De Niro (Killers Of The Flower Moon) and Joaquin Phoenix (Napoleon) (not in theatres yet but promises to be top acting).

Same goes for "Apocalypse Now Redux": 202 minutes, but I didn't mind that the storytelling takes its time (although Coppola decided to trim it with 'The Final Cut' to 183 minutes).

Watched Killers of the Flower Moon the other day. Very very excellent film like all the reviews are saying. I didn't feel like it was a long film thanks to its excellent pacing and very interesting story. The cast (especially Lily Gladstone) and directing is easily a standout for the Oscars this year.

I love the guy, he's one of the few who really made me LOL, but Bill Burr has kinda lost it somehow ever since he got hitched, etc.
