In Northern Virginia, it was 27 this morning. Last week we were in the 60s for morning temps...at least it's keeping pollen down, just a bit.

Freezing rain and 31 F here right now, with heavy rain (3+ inches) and a wind advisory for 50 MPH gusts this afternoon into the overnight. In other words, the perfect weekend to go outside and change the differential oil in the almost-Mighty Freightliner.
The only positive thing about today is that the rain is giving everyone's allergies a reprieve by washing the tree pollen out of the air.....

Had a bit of a nothingburger storm yesterday and overnight. 1-2 inches of snow. (1.5 hr west from TO)
Tuesday or Wednesday's morning freeze was more scary, roads were terribly icy with a late response from the salt trucks. Had 3 people that I know get into car accidents (and I don't know many people lol). |

Low 40's F and lots of sun today, after yesterday's 2.15 inch drenching rain.
The ground was dry enough to go crawling under the almost-Mighty Freightlner to change the rear diff fluid, but I wasn't successful because I couldn't break the drain plug free with my lack of strength. The fluid change can wait for a warmer day, when I can use a trolley jack to turn the breaker bar.....
