Sorry man, but even though the price has been raised the value is still good as far as competition. You say optioned out it is 45K, that is still not bad considering the 335 coupe optioned out is a little over 50K, am I correct? Yea, the car is a little overweight, lol. Definately right about that. |

Ahhh I drove the g37 this weekend and I am extremely disappointed. The only thing I liked were the seats. THATS IT.
The new hr motor did not feel that much faster the my old rev-up motor. I was really hoping that this car would feel different than my Z, it doesn't.

And it is my opinion that the G37 does feel sluggish. I truly wanted it to be good, but it wasn't what I hoped that it would be. |

Yeah, Infiniti fucked up big time with the G37. When the concept came out, it blew everything away and I was ready to trade in my G35. Then, months later, a re-design came out and it was ugly as shlt. So I decided to keep my G35.
Infinti has about 5+ years to make improvements over the G35. Yet they fail. The interior and motor is a big plus with the added VVEL. But, they fail again with the weight. The G37 cannot compete with the 3 series. I see the G37 as an overpriced competitor of the Accord Coupe and the Toyta Solara. The sales figures already prove the consumer dissapointment with the car. Also, previous G35 owners already know what to expect with the new car from previous experiences. (interior rattles, creeks, rear axle bolt getting loose, window motor failing, sunroof motor failing, poor soft paint, poor tread wear, and getting raped at the stealership). Oil change at Infinti = 60 oil change at nissan for the exact same parts. $25 haha. |

Just because it is a little slower and a little heavier, it sucks? This is not a fair comment.

Without the chrome or regular spoiler, the rear decklid is not angled down. That would make mounting the rear-view camera very instrusive to the flow of the hood, and it would stick out quite a bit. My thought is that they added it to achieve a downward angle on the lid, therefore making it easier to add that feature. Additionally, maybe Infiniti thinks it looks better.

I heavily though about purchasing one when shopping for a vehicle.. but just couldn't justify that it was that great of a bargain that people are stating for a 300 hp car. Honestly spending the extra couple g's for a 3 series was the most confident decision i made. Now.. not waiting for hte 335 is another story...

When I read the auto mag comparisons it sounded like the G37 was a 335i eater. Having had (and liked) a 350 Z that surprised me because, except for better speed and control through corners, it was way slower than BMW's with supposedly less HP. The flaw is that torque number for the Infiniti. Also, the V6 engine is a very rough runner at higher rpm's.
Not knocking the car really, but it ain't no Bimmer! |

agreed with ya but alot of infinite buyer are cheap lol. They think that G35 g37, and nissian are cost effective on maintance vs BMW.. However, Both Nissian or INfinti and BMW buyer probably sick of their car less than 5 years anyways. I guess time to trade your in for better tech.. lol

For those inclined, here are specs for G37:
Curb weight: AT 3616 lbs F/R Weight Distribution: 54/46 Engine: 3.7L V6 335i Specs for comparison: Curb weight: AT 3582 lbs F/R Weight Distribution: 51/49 Engine: 3.0L I6 biturbo (specifically 2979cc) For many, it's not just about money, power, acceleration and handling. Some simply prefer the styling of the G. |
