I support a local PD, and EVERY officer I spoke to, regardless of whether they had seen anything related to it, think it was an appropriate action to take to a person who continues to resist. Some of the alternatives to get that last hand into the cuffs include applying force to vlnerable areas like a sharp blow to the elbow, which often results in actual joint damage. Acceptable use of force throughout, but with a taser it's much more safe for the perp, and gets them into cuffs and controlled.

They are called campus security, not police, well campus police with the same powers as any police force in the country.

At first I was sympathetic to the kid that got tasered. But now I'm hearing stories of a set up, and him laughing at how the incident turned out the way he planned for it all along. If he orchestrated this whole thing to get some sort of popularity, then he deserved to get his ass tasered.

I dunno I've watched the tape over and over and personally I have a feeling he is acting. I've seen women get tasered and not scream and cry like he did. IMO if its a set up it changes everything. But we will see how the investigation goes.

And BTW cop violence is not a bad word. But the unlawful and over use of violence is another thing.
