Dito, I currently double my fiance. Although she's about to finish up her MBA but I don't think that will cut the gap just yet. My business is about to boom so I really doubt she'll catch up unless she plays some good "office politics".

I have no idea what my wife earns. I pay for everything and she saves her money for a rainy day. I know she has quite a lot in the bank if that is any conciliation. We never discuss money and I hope we never do. Believe it or not.

Yeah, never really understood it either. She's all, "maybe I'll cut back on my hours in a year or 2". You want to know what I think of that? HELL FUCKIN NO YOUR NOT!!! She makes less than me but is up for a promotion at which point she'll still make less but not by much. Having 2 incomes that are decent sure does reduce stress around money. But I still think you should do what you love and don't worry so much about the $.

I think one thing TOO many people do, is worry what other people think. Who cares what the "norm" is .. if you've made a life and are happy .. ENJOY IT and really: It's nobody's business anyway ..
