sorry to hear that. it does take time, but being active helps a lot. hang out more with friends, hit the gym, meet new people. it's hard, but it'll get better. I just broke up with my gf 2 days ago, and even tho i was the one doign the breaking up, i'm still having a hard time adjusting too....something about that lack of closeness and comfort that hits you initially.

off topic, but this quote

reminded me of this joke:

We've all heard about people having guts or balls. But do you really
know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed,
the definition for each is listed below ....

GUTS - is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being
assaulted by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: "Are
you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

BALLS - is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of
perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the ass
and having the balls to say: "You're next."

I hope this clears up any confusion on the subject

last year broke up with my girl of 4 years, a week before xmas.

Called up the buddies and for 5 months we went to bars and clubbing every weekend. We had so much fun we were going out Wednesday - Sunday every week dancing and meeting new girls. Then I met my current girl randomly in June and we have been together since.

I suggest just having fun as the way to get over her. I seriously had the best time of my life after the breakup.

Good advice but before this step, grow some and tell yourself she isnt the first and she wont be the last...

Yeah just try and have fun. Thats the best advice I could give anyone. Dont sit at home and sulk about your ex, just do things that make you happy, i.e. blond nurses!

Whoa nelly.

As I read it, you let her run free bcs you didn't want to attach yourself. Good call bwt in light of everything.

You are now jealous ? bcs you thought she wanted you back and in fact she may not........

Sounds like you made the right move the first time around. She was likely looking for revenge since you obviously broke her heart (again unless I am misreading things).

Now, get confortable with being on your own and do not think you depend upon a relationship to be happy. Be happy single. Enjoy your friends, go out, be well on your own as well. In six months this will be a distant memory.

Well...don't want to kick you while you are down...but just some food for thought.

I kidney infection in a female is commonly due to an untreated UTI (urinary tract infection). Females are very prone to UTI's due to the short length of the urethra. UTI's are most common in females that are sexually active, due to traumatic injury and bacterial seeding during intercourse. Particularly when engaging in rear entry (male pubis comes in contact with female anal region) and then switching to missionary style (now male pubis is thrusting on female urethra) which can lead to introduction of certian bacteria into the vaginal and urinary tract.

So...guess she did not want your help in treating her kidney infection...because likely she got it from...activities with this pretty boy.

Now...refer back to quote above

dude the best thing you can do is get laid. Not neccesarily by a stripper or prostitute but by some girl you meet @ a club or anywhere else you hang out. Which basically gets all back to you keeping yourself off topic and just str8 up going out and not sulking about it @ home cause it WILL eat you up and then no chick will want to talk to you, moreover invite you inside (physically/literally lol) cuz you will always have this sad face on and the last thing chicks want to do is talk about YOU. Thats more like relationship talk.

BOTTOMLINE: go get some ass. I promise you, you WILL NOT be on this forum tomorrow morning haha.
