2200 for that and they are still charging 3600 for just the sway bars on the m60 lol.
Bmw just is not on top of this. No one would have said yes to charge the same 3600 as they did on the m550 when rear wheel steering is a standard option. Silly

This 2200 was clearly thoughtfully priced and what I think most would ballpark for the two additional features. Maybe the 540 will be next.

If it comes as an option before I take delivery, it is too late for me.

Has anyone been able to add the 2VV adaptive suspension as an option for the 540i? Just this option alone would make this car very desirable.

Also, don't know if any differences between items on 540 and 550e.

If you are in the SE area, my CA MIGHT be able to help and order.

Good luck.
Is there a technical reason why they wouldn’t approve it for the 540i? I’m sure factory complexity and supply chain capacity could also be valid reasons. But I can’t think of a technical reason in the 540i they wouldn’t approve IAS or even adaptive suspension and ARS.

Edit… never mind. Looks like it was approved.

aherman18 has a 550e not a 540i. Unless you have seen someone with the 2vv approved for a 540i around whose car you are mentioning

Must have misread it. Still I can’t think of a technical reason why it wouldn’t be approved for the 540i. The G30 M550i without mild hybrid had the full DHP so it’s not an electrical system constraint. And the packaging is possibly more an issue on the 550e than the 540i. As others have said, this option would be very desirable.

The Dynamic Handling Package on the M60 adds both active roll bars and M Adaptive Suspension Pro for $3600, not just ARS. If you don’t check this box, you get “regular” Adaptive Suspension Pro without the M and static roll bars. I’ve driven both, they are different.

Hmm so you’re saying the suspension tuned differently beyond the addition of the sway bars? Do we agree, mechanically, the only difference is the sway bars , right?

Not easy to get a definitive answer to that. Might be the same dampers with different software (has to work with in conjunction with the active roll bars in the M version), or different dampers.
