For the center slates, they did each one individually. To the tinted plastic behind the slates isn’t covered. So does not effect components behind the grill

Nope wrap on them as well. Honestly surprised how well they did the inserts.

Yeah, they did a pretty good job. Plus it helps if you ever decide to change back, or sell, the new owner has the option as well if they don't like the black.
