Good to remember Sergio Perez’s F1 career:
He made his Formula One debut in the 2011 Australian Grand Prix. He has had a very interesting and long career and I hope he keeps his wish to end his career at Red Bull in 2026. It's easy to root for the sure thing but rewarding when you root for the under dog and they come through. https://www.racefans.net/sergio-perez/ |

Don't see Checo make it to Q3 in this car... The source of the RB20 issues is fundamental . It's the RB20 front suspension . Helmut Marko : We know and we learned what we can do to fix it , but it's not fixed yet . As MAX said : This setup issue won't be fixed in a few races ... It's a miracle that MAX can still win races with this car . Knowing that McLaren and Mercedes are the fastest cars at the track . But there is hope for the RB20 , because the Red Bull Team is busy trying to copy the flexible front wings from Ferrari , Mercedes and McLaren.. The flexible front wings are approved by the FIA . Strange but true (!) So why wouldn't they do it too ...

Marko said that the team now know what to do to rectify the too hard front suspension but until that time he may still struggle a bit compared to MAX. Checo as well as MAX have both been to the RB hq/factory in Bucks as part of the preparation for Barcelona to how best to deal with driving there.

You can't change your character by the flick of a switch, that's VAL and if he enjoys being a cross dress tv model for a car hire company or a dirt rally cyclist for charity in his free time then good for him if he's fed up with waiting for selfish greedy F1 team managers that keep putting him on the shelf.

Just because HAM is leaving for Ferrari and there was a storm in a teacup with an ex employee making trumped up allegations is no reason for MAX to leave and the silly money being allegedly offered by Merc, AM and maybe others just shows that they are nothing but gutter crawlers using money to cajole him out of his home team. Oh..Newey has left the racing team but still with RB for the hyper car, big deal, he's getting on and can't go on for ever. Most of his ingenuity has been used up at RB and I think eventually going to Ferrari,if he is thinking of that, will have little effect there as their techs have tried everything in the book anyway. |

As soon a Red Bull debuts is new "flexable front wing" the FIA will make sure they fail scrutineering.

Truthfully, if the FIA isnt going to concern themselves with intentionally deceitful wings (pass the 'test' but are wildly illegal after that) then RB should push it to the extreme to the point where either teams are so angry because theirs flex so much or the FIA says sorry guys but we have to enforce the rule and none of you are able to run these wings. Maybe the static wing test isnt the right test and that they should actually determine flex during load levels and regulate like that as I am sure it easy to get that data. It's a win/win and certainly the approach I'd take. If I were them, I might also tell my team to push a few more areas of the regs knowing that the FIA is probably too busy trying to figure out 2026 that I can get away with a bit more beyond the front wing.

Speaking to Austrian publication oe24, Marko said: "You can't say that. They (Mercedes, ed.) have a new front wing, and on the TV pictures from Montreal you can clearly see that Russell and Hamilton's wings are bending noticeably.
"However, the wings had the necessary strength when they were approved. That doesn't surprise me. I don't know how often we had to check our wings." Speaking of the checks that aerodynamic parts need to go through, Marko noted: "There is a precisely defined procedure with weights under which a wing must not bend. It is a popular game of pushing everything to the limit so that it passes the technical inspection. "During the race, the wing then lowers, which ensures better aerodynamics. It has come up again and again when the deformation was clearly visible in the television images." Marko confirmed that Red Bull had taken a look at the flexibility of the W15's front wing. Although the first inspection did not reveal any issues, the Austrian said that the inspection will be carried out in the coming rounds again. "Everything was OK in Montreal. There is a new inspection for Barcelona and Spielberg etc., and it has to be OK again. Of course, the competition is looking at that critically, not just us." |
