Can I stand this new 5-series? No. I can list 7 things instantly, both generally objective but also subjective that I hate about it.
Does BMW miss an old school silver color? Absolutely! The Titansilver on my old e60 (and my parent's old e46) was beautiful. Classic BMW to me.

It's one thing MB seems to do on every model...a classic silver. BMW has had some great ones too. I would say Titansilver > Articsilver

The best blues indeed. Centennial Blue comes close second only to San Marino Blue.

It‘s just crazy how many individual colors you can order and what an achievement to make it possible.

The new 5 goes well with some classic BMW colors - I’d probably settle with a darker shade. Here are some of my favorites.

Macao Blue

Atlas Grey

Sparkling Graphite Metallic
- owned on my first BMW, E87

It would be nice if you could change the color once a month. Via Connected Drive for $100.
Platinbronze: I think it's good too. Very good. Is relatively close to my current Sunstone.

Not sure about your point

There will be people handwashing their cars (best to do it in self-service car wash instead of drive way) and some using car wash or something in between. But it goes for all paints - individual or standard. I bet there are some folks using car wash on Frrozen paints as well.

Im with you. its a daily driver, every day car, and I like it in silver, especially TiAg having owned 2 TiAg cars, its a wonderful color.

Personally also If I paid PTS color money Id go with Sepang Bronze, Macadamia Brown (to just match my 911) or Liquid Copper, as I do like the earthy shades on this car with its black rims.

Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Range Rover...they always have a beautiful , classic metallic silver.

I cannot understand why BMW has essentially killed metallic silver! I know you can get Space Silver on some models, but silver should be a standard offered colour on EVERY model.

I would say easily 75% of all cars I have had, have been silver. I would love if my new i5 was silver!!!
