Opinions can be wrong. I think what new song is pointing out is that in your original post you brought up separation of church and state...I and several others have tried to show you the fact of truth (not opinion).
Opinion is fine unless found non-factual. Then it is wrong. I can have the opinion that the sky is actually pink, but due to the scientific fact of Rayleigh scattering, it is, in fact, blue.

Atheists are a bunch of hypocrits, they don't want to believe in something, but then tell everyone else they can't believe either....basically forcing THEIR lack of beliefs onto others.
I just don't get Atheists anyway. What is the harm in believing in something GOOD and the possibility of a wonderful soul and life after death on this earth?

The harm is that instead of living you life to the fullest, and realizing that it is finite; you subjugate your wishes to something that doesn’t exist. Or worse instead of taking responsibility for you life you believe there is something that is watching out for you.

Ok, lets say I believe there is a 10% chance that there is a God. Which God do I worship? The Hindu God, the Muslim God, the Christian God, the Jewish God, some other God? So if you choose to believe in any God, you must also reject all of the other Gods. Someone once said that all religious people are atheists, but atheists just believe in one less God.

Up until a few hundred years ago everyone believed the earth was flat. Or that the sun rotated around the earth. So vast numbers of people can be wrong about things that are considered common knowledge.


I've got no problem with religion being in the inaguration, the US is very Christian. But it does bug me that today, an aethist couldn't be president.
