subway is probably the worst in the chain of fast food sandwhiches...even though their break is made fresh daily, it still doesnt as good as other brands Blimpies, Jimmy Johns and Quiznos. The meat sucks too

GOTDAYUM this is the perfect idea for a thread.
Usually I'll get a footlong tuna on honey oat with lettuce, onion and salt/pepper. If I feel like eating healthy (the tuna is 3/4 mayo) I'll get a footlong turkey on wheat with american cheese, lettuce, onion, green pepper, cucumber, spicy mustard, and a lil salt/pepper.

I was a big fan of Subway, but the quality is so inconsistent that I stop returning to a lot of the Subway stores that I'm not familiar with.
I prefer Earl of Sandwich over Subway. All American and The Full Montagu are awesome sandwiches. Unfortunately, there are no Earl of Sandwich in Canada. |

I stopped going to subway after I found 'shredded chicken bone' in my meat ball sandwich. Yes, inch long shredded chicken bone in my sandwich.
Nasty shit. |

I go there once a week. And they do have some healthy alternatives. 6" Turkey on honey oat, ground pepper, green peppers, pickles, lettuce and some baked lays, call it a day.

I see alot of poeple that up right refuse to hit up a Subway. Claiming that quiznos > subway.
For me, quiznos and subway are not in competition with each other. I either want a Subway sandwich, or I want a Quiznos sandwich. Both have things they do better than the other, I consider Quiznos' sauces to be to heavy and they typically put on too much of it. Since their bottles have 3 holes instead of 1, its a bit more difficult to get only a light amount of sauce. I like both pretty equally. I've tried a Firehouse, it was alright but certainly not life changing like many poeple have mentioned here. It was just another sub, but with soggier bread. (wtf is up with that anyways? for a place that popular, why such soggy bread?) My personal favorite chain of sandwich, though they aren't around alot in Texas, is Great Outdoors. #12 Outdoorsman is amazing. They have great tasting bread as well. Jason's Deli is also amazing, but not really a sub sandwich place.

Btw, I have a subway card with over $1000 ($1 = 1, so 1000 points) racked up on it. This is equal to something like 15 free 12" subs. (1 12" sub = 75 points)
I racked it all up on my card while I was at school in NY, and since moving back down to TX I've found out that TX subways don't support these cards. They think I'm talking about a gift card or some shit, who knows. But apparently its only good in the north. Anyone here interested in buying it off me for a great deal?
