No car for me yet, but when I get one the watch that'll match LBB the best is a Rolex 16613 Sub with the blue face\bezel.
I have an 18238 day-date that goes with either nothing or everything, depending on your point of view.

I have a few others that don't match nearly as well but I've never been much of a fashion plate. I'd be happy enough in an M2 with a piece of old rope tied around my left wrist.

I'm in favor of a large watch and a custom grill.

My wife loves her Hermès 'Arceau' (Petit Modèle). Timeless elegance, just like her. And she doesn't mind wearing it daily (alike a car, a watch is enjoyed best when worn).

She also has a Hermès 'Cape Cod' (double tour strap). Only downside of the Barenia natural leather when frequently worn: the leather goes dark quite quickly (caramelizing), is prone to getting patina and in the end cracks.

Can we link this thread to the map of where all the M2's are?

I have a shopping list to fill. LOL

Kind of a "Gone in Sixty Seconds" Timepiece shopping list that is....

Just Kidding!

Mike.

She must be petite. That watch on my wrist is 37mm, 40 including the crown. Anything smaller would look weird.

Fun thread. Seems car interest and watch interest goes hand in hand

Today I wore the Ingenieur but the 116600 Seadweller usually gets most wrist time. Kind of my beater since a year back. Such a robust and versatile watch the Rolex.

The Tudor Black Bay is a fairly new addition, which I got in a trade a couple of weeks back for a Grand Seiko hi beat gmt.

From time to time I buy/sell/trade watches as a hobby

Only way to get a blue sub mariner is to get a white gold version. Steel sub in black or green $4k. Steel and gold $12k. White gold $20k. Diamonds are even more.

Just avoid 'catalogue' watches like Bell & Roll. $3k for a $200 watch

Edit: I'm still on the hunt for a meters first red sub in unrestored condition. I'd wear the shit out of that watch!

Sorry but this just reads troll. Lots of quoting $ and undervaluing others. No ETA movement watch is $200. And while Rolex is to be respected it's not a standout.

Surprised there's not more Omegas here I always thought BMW is to Porsche as Omega is to Rolex

As for me, I'm sporting the Omega Speedmaster Professional, circa 1993. The original moon watch!
