Also, for the comment in regards to being afraid that you may "get used to it", that's BMWs goal. For you to enjoy it and get used to it, so that you can seek it again in your next BMW (or so they want you to go up the ladder).

That's my view on this matter.
My wife, being a low/no-tech person, simply sees the active steering as a great safety feature. She did ask me yesterday as we discussed about the 1 series if the cars were radio-controlled. I asked how did she come to this conclusion and she said that it was because of how the cars felt in her hands. I just told her that it was how good the steering was and reminded her that it makes quite a difference for her to go from a 20 year old car to a brand new one.

Gotta admit those brakes and wheels look nice. I really like the spoiler too...and I'm usually not a big spoiler whore.
I don't think thats the original Tii version of te 1er, if you take a look, it doesn't have sport seats as is shown on the Tii parts catalog...

I posted a link on the Canada sub-forum. You gotta check the forums more often.

Yeah...I don't think it's a full blown Tii...just 135i with certain BMW Peformance parts (namely brakes, spoiler and wheels).

Sorry to revive this thread, I just got selected for the event in Toronto.

I get to drive the cars right? Are they manual or automatic?

Anything I should expect?
