I would highly recommend getting in contact with a water restoration company as soon as possible to prevent mold. They have a lot of equipment to take car of this kind of stuff. This is really the only way to do it right.

But why are people pressure washing the inside of their cars. Is it possible to be that stupid?

People for the most part are very, very stupid. I once dated a girl who buffed all the clear off her car because she washed it with a "no scratch" kitchen scrubber sponge. Hit it one more time then sent her packing.
