It has been at least 10+ years since I dressed up, but I used to like being Hugh Hefner - just a bathrobe, baby powder in hair and a Playboy rolled up in the bathrobe pocket. Very easy, cheap and (best of all) comforable. Most people knew exactly who I was but every once in a while, someone thought I was dressed up as a guy going to take a shit... Nowadays, I'm guessing many people wouldn't get it even if I had a Hugh Hefner name tag on the bathrobe.

I wish there was a service where they just come drop off an awesome costume without having to mess with anything. Nothing wears me out more than having to go shopping for a Halloween costume.

I like your costume, but I just couldn't go around for more than five minutes in that thing. How do you drink cocktails with that thing on your head? I think if I saw you at a masquerade party I attended, I'd have a hard time talking with you. Not for anything having to do with you, the person inside the costume, but rather I just don't see myself talking to a wolf head, and I don't see other folks talking to me were I the one wearing it.

Even when I wear just a decorated mask, I put it in my pocket to actually talk to people. I don't have any issue with arriving with it on, making "rounds" for the first ten minutes or so with it on, but that's as far as it needs to go for me. Maybe that is lame, but, hey, I look great in my dinner jacket or tails if take it that far. If nothing else, formal wear is always festive.

All the best.

P.S.
I learned my lesson ages ago....wear a tux or tails, but whichever I choose, it must be something that doesn't make me look like the doormen or waiters. LOL The first time I wore a basic black tux to a costume party I 'bout got worn out with the people who kept trying to get me to call their driver around or bring them a drink or h'or douvre. I was fit to be tied by the end of that night!

I rolled up with it on and like you wore it around the place for about 15 min. Then the head was off for most of the time. Though i did a jump on the dance floor with the full get up a few times. Most people got a kick out of it and it seemed that most of the women had no problem talking to the wolf. lol

This was a big event and the press was there. My wife and i got our picture taken with the event host and it was in the paper the following day.
