well, i'll try not to thread jack anymore than i have to but i think the two go nicely together. i hate to say IG but my ig is full of cars and watches. people love taking pictures of the two together. maybe it's not for everyone but it definitely is for a lot of us.

I am coming from a Mustang and spent a lot of time searching for the perfect watch that embodies what a Mustang is -- inexpensive, American, mechanical, simple, retro/classic looks but still modern. I never found that watch and now my Mustang is gone. The closest I felt was the Bulova Gemini line.

So maybe I read too much into it but I see correlation between cars - watches - music.

not many wear a watch at the track. why would you. Guess it depends whether you are interested in standing by your car and looking cool or actually driving.

i was recently at the porsche world road show and it was cool to see the head instructor wearing a tag heuer.

Forget Harry's Latimer, call me old school, but this is how I time my laps....look at my last sessions at Laguna Seca...400 units per hour!!! f-yea!

TAG is pretty much standard issue for people working for Porsche or BMW for some reason....
I guess Carrera for Porsche people, and Monaco for BMW people?
