I was planning on using my 120 hours of PTO on December 3rd until the holidays.
Then when I called my boss to make sure the days off were alright with the schedule, before I could say anything, he told me that one of our contracted jobs got pushed back until December 1st. I can roll over one week, but I don't know the exact date I'll be off. After all, working in nuclear plants, and their hurry up and wait attitude and I could be there until the 23rd. I should've taken a week off in the summer like a normal person.

Unfortunatley for most of us, there is never a convenient time to use the days. |

I report directly to our CFO. Had a little conversation with him last night about how HR is pressuring me to use my time. Year end is crucial in finance, so I decided to take a day here and there until I use up my 11 days. He was thankful and said "I'll take care of you" come holiday bonus time.

I have a whole week off at the end of Dec for the same reason, with no where to go :-/ flights are too expensive around that time so guess I will be doing some upgrades around the house.
