Via AutoCar and Jalopnik: ~3615 lbs for the non-S sedan.
http://jalopnik.com/2015-mercedes-be...p-5-1638185389 It'll be interesting to compare quoted weights with real world measurements, but this isn't as heavy as I had imagined initially (> 3800 lbs). Now, if this is DIN weight, 3800 lbs might well be within range.

The wagon looks absolutely stunning!! Is "perfect" too strong of a word?

Holy moly. Sedan is a yawnfest imo besides the sweet interior, but good god the Estate is perfection. Now THAT I would happily have!!

Love the exterior. Love the wagon. Don't like the interior.

Was in the regular C class and interior is a notch or two above BMW in every regard. Steering wheel is just perfect too. Add the AMG treatment and its a clear winner.
And when it comes to the sound system, the Burmeister is better than anything BMW has going for it in that area. |

Love it! Red time attack stuff is easily fixed. Exhaust tips are also easily fixed. Wish the fenders were flared more. Needs more snarly stuff.
Only downside is if it really will be ~4000lbs. 3600 is a much better number.

We rarely see the Edition 1 AMG variants here in the States.

Pretty much looks exactly what renders have suggested so far, and this is a good thing!
Very conservative styling however, which would definitely suit someone like me. |

Love that it has a V8. I hope BMW returns to that in the G-generation of M3/M4 -- rumors are the cylinder count is heading in the opposite direction, though.
Like the flared fenders, but wish the rear were flared as well. It's a bit portly, which is too bad. Absolutely love the sport seats. Love the fact that the S is being offered in RWD, though I'm not sure where the extra weight is coming from. Do we know what kind of transmission it has? Anything but a DCT would be unfortunate.
