Lemme guess, BMWNA will have the X6 configurator up and running by the end of this month with all the pricing and options available.
As for the new M3.... is that thing even coming out in America? |

You'd buy the 135 because you drive a P-car and money is no object.
J/k, but halfway serious, I don't see the point of the Cayman either but boy is the ride a looker unlike the ugly duckling 135i So what is my point? Really nothing just blowing off some steam on here.

BTW, I just built a 135i with the same options as my E92 335i (6MT, Sport pkg, metallic paint, CA), and it was only 5k less... errr... no thanks.

the only option differences between the 3 and the 1 is the rear sunshade. It's not offered in the 1. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.
I just built one on the site and it tops to $46,650??!! We paid a few grand more for better looks (IMO) , dual exhaust, more room. Is it worth it? I guess so lol

i agree with all of you guys. a decently equipped 135 zoom past $40k easily. $40k-ish for a basically entry level bmw is definitely difficult to justify. i used to like the 1'er a lot because it LOOKS really light and it seems to be the descendant of the legendary 2002. but after reading the spec and price, i am not sure is that 2002 magic is still there in the 1'er. i know aesthetic is a personal thing, but the 1'er's steeply inclining roof line and that short trunk + short front end remind me of some early day FIAT and Hyundai Accent GS 1'er should be awarded for the least presence people can get from paying $40k for a car

Piano Black looks much classier and far more high-end than high gloss black.

did anyone notice that the 1 series idrive has traffic information
"Navigation system with iDrive and Real Time Traffic Information" what I don't get is that there is only a 5K difference between the 135 and the 335 and only 187 lb between the 335i coupe and the 135i auto . the only thing that I know that my next BMW is going to be a Z4

What is disappointing about the 1 and makes it rather "pointless" is that it was billed as a successor to the 2002. We all expected it to be priced much lower than the 3 series, and be a much more lightweight and nimble vehicle. Granted, it is lighter and cheaper, but not so much lighter or cheaper that it makes a strong argument against getting a 3 series. Factor in that a lot of new BMWs are leased, and that price disparity becomes even less of an issue for most buyers. |

135 is a nice car if it's priced at $33k max or < $40k with options. Above that number is totally bs. I was in the market for it, but now I change my mind. I'd wait for it to be released and will get a better deal on the 3er (probably on $3k over 135 with the same config.).
BTW, you actually can get a 335i sedan with the same configurations (ZPP, ZSP, Navi) for about the same price since dealers sell 335 sedan for <$1000 above invoice.
