Oh, gosh, that's so hard to predict. Let's hope for the best. It looks like there are quite a few November shipments if it misses this one. Is your destination, Baltimore?

Well the TORTUGAS has left the Bremerhaven port about 4 hours ago. No update in myGarage, but I'm sure there is a lag. My fingers are still crossed. Anywho, you can track the vessel here: https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9319765

There is definitely some lag - don't give up hope until a couple of days. Remember, you can also call the BMW genius line to ask them what ship your car is on. They were very helpful and eager when I called for my car back in February.

Yes, but it was good enough for me. I didn't get mile by mile updates when it was in the middle of the Atlantic, but once it came close to the Panama canal, and then all the way up the West coast of the US, I got regular updates because it was close enough to land the whole way from that point on.

That makes sense. My ship went from Bremerhaven to South Hampton to Charleston and then through the Canal to Hueneme. I wonder if AIS would have worked from Charleston to the Canal.

Well, there are currently 8 shipments scheduled from Bremerhaven to Baltimore during the month of November. If that bloody 540 isn't on one of these, God as my witness, I'm going to do "something" and escalate the matter with "someone", "somewhere". Even if it means messaging the CEO of BMW on my LinkedIn account. lol.

I had this data in my notes, as I wondered about size. I used the quintessential family car, the Honda Accord as my benchmark. The plus or negative is the G60s size relative to the Accord. Just for perspective:
