Actually, it's not that bad, some things I enjoy... the dash is a neat toy if you ask me...

I'll give it to Audi. Their new interiors are nicely done. Just wish their engine choice was better.

3 biggest complaints about my A6 were the steering, brakes, and infotainment. Steering was WAY too light even in sport and was very disconnected. Brakes were good, just really mooshy pedal and grabby. The MMI in it was half assed. It worked, but iDrive is miles ahead. Also lagged a lot in the cold Chicago winters.

That said, the Quattro system allowed me to have some Walter Röhrl moments in the snow and the supercharged V6 was an absolute joy with the tune I had. Thing ate highway miles like no other car.

The steering kept me out of an Audi when I bought my 3. It was numb, too light and floated when you transitioned through the center point. I love their interiors and the quattro system but the steering just killed it for me.

Yeah that came out wrong... My girl hates Audi and isn't pleased, lol... That and it's a more subdued ride compared to say F3x / F8x... Even with the B9 platform, the handling, while improved, doesn't wow... Brakes are stellar though and interior is quieter than the other cars on its class...

But doesn't have what I look for in a car is all I meant...

I was thinking S4 before I got the 3. Drove them back to back. S4 was definitely quicker than the 3, but yes the steering killed it for me.

I will admit that the C400 I drove had great steering.

I came dangerously close to RS5 when I got my E92 M3... The markup was ridic in SoCal back then... Put it at M5 pricing - for around 335 performance... Thought about it again when I did F80, so who knows, maybe at one point... But now, I'd much rather have RS7...

Handling is better on Audi for 2017+... Quattro obviously doesn't hurt...

The Tesla actually has one of the nicest variable steering systems. Absolute blast on off ramps and back roads. Grips well, and nearly zero body roll. The 70D is quick off the line, but even more impressive when pulling out of corners.

I have a buddy with an SQ5 and he chipped it and did exhaust and tuning. Thing's a rocket. I still can't help feel like all Audi's I've been in have just been off-balance. I haven't spent any time in the new platform though.
