Agreed, it is pretty hideous- but that specific pic was taken at my mom/grandmas house. I can't tell them what to put in/out of their home!

It's meant to be an entry table, you know to set your keys down on- but no one really uses it

I have the Weathertech Digital Fit or whatever they call them in my GTI and they are awesome, much better than OEM mats because the fitment is perfect, made to contain even the biggest of spills and they're super easy to clean.

I used to run OEMs all the time about 5 years back. Tried weather techs for a winter and haven't gone back. The protection from road salt is something no OEM mat can match. Plus, they fit really nicely. And I'm about 20 minutes from the factory, so slight discount.
