I use the chrono function every day to time my french press coffee, it's easier than unlocking my iPhone, clicking on the clock function, switching over to timer and pressing the fake button. A Swiss or German fellow is crying over his dunkelweiss right now... |

I'm glad it gets use I agree on the GMT watches, I know my Nomos isn't technically a "real" GMT watch, but the separate pusher for the time zones is so convenient. For examply, I wore that watch all the way across from ontario to British Columbia, and all I had to do was just press the pusher once a day pretty much. where with my jeep, I had to access sub menus and such to change the time. when I head back to Ontario however, I'll have to push the pusher about 23 times each zone change to get the time back to the correct times zone. But still easy. |

Ha, funny, I wore a chrono to the Austin F1 race but never even thought about using the chrono function.
I forgot you have the Nomos Zurich Weltzeit, I've been intrigued by that model, how are you liking it? I love that they're making all of their own movements, something many of the Glasshuette members have been lax about. |

Absolutely love it, it's unfortunately made me start liking smaller diameter watches though....
It's so clean and simple, I don't think anyone who has seen it on me hasn't liked it. And then when you turn it over, the movement is one of the prettiest I have. I'd re-purchase it in a second If I had too. I can't say that about all my watches. Actually, as a result of it, I'm looking at purchasing my first IWC because of the simple clean German look. The Portuguese chronograph automatic is on my radar.... |

That's a tough question to answer. There's a lot of unknowns about the watch. I guess the first place to start is if the back has been off the watch to prove its genuine.

I LOL'd... but it is true.
When I find a job again my next purchase will likely be a chronograph. I am really liking the Strelas although I know Russian isn't for everyone. I would rather have a vintage something or other with a similar look but too risky it would appear |

But for all other days such as the gym and what not, I have to admit this little gizmo works very well and looks well. It is a well made product and works very well. |

To me, iPad nano as a watch is just a big no no, its ruin the classic of the watch. U have to charge is most of the time, the headphone running from Ur wrist just weird, the LCD display that u have to turn on every time when u want to check the time is just too much. Its like having a 100% hybrid car these day, the idea is there but as a true lover of cars, no. |

both real, heavily modified.
Rolex doesn't like it when you do that but too bad for them. Who the hell wants to wear a watch that any other douchebag with $30k can walk in and buy? That's as stupid as leaving an M3 all stock. btw, only one of them is mine.

Both look fake to me, the clasp mechanism looks like the typical style on knock offs (folding part should be polished instead of matte, the split in the middle is wrong). That is not what a Rolex president band should look like and the fit to the case is beyond awful, looks like something out of Skymall. Never seen that bezel either and Rolex has never made a black/PVD watch or anything with a rubber strap. But hey maybe it's a frankenwatch with non original parts....
