Tebow not sliding isn't the difference between winning and losing. TBH, I haven't watched much of him any other games, but the chart during the game said he achieved only one 200yd game, two including yesterday. Last time I checked, the standard for NFL QB play was still 300 yds, a milestone Tebow hasn't been close to, despite the crap he's been playing against. Hell, throughout the first 3 qtrs he had less than 100 yds. If this is how you want your QB to play, you can have him. Yesterday, the Bears lost the game. It's remarkable that Denver keeps pulling out 4th qtr comebacks, but this doesn't make it desirable to be trailing in the 4th qtr to begin with.

Denver's offense played terrible most of the game. There were at least 5 or 6 dropped balls, A few errant throws by Tebow, including the one he inexplicably kept in-bounds for Tillman to pick off. The offensive line blew it on their field goal attempt, allowing 3 Bears in position to block the kick. Denver's defense played well, but a crap ass offense still put points on them.

I am no Pats fan.. but thankfully we only need to listen to this garbage for one more week. Albeit the Pats don't have the best defense this year, their offense is 10 times better than the teams that the Broncos have faced over the last 7 games.

This is the week the Broncos get exposed...

I agree man, Tebow not sliding is not wining the games but it has helped. He has picked up some crucial first downs by doing this.

I also agree that his QB stats are not impressive at all. All the announcers and sports nuts seem to agree that by all measures, the Broncos should not be wining; but they are. I wish we weren't trailing every game but it seems to be that the Broncos find that extra strength in them when the game is on the line. I personally think that the team has been playing very conservative for the first three quarters and then once they realize the game is on the line they start taking more chances and that has been paying off big. On top of that, they have just been getting very lucky. The stats dont reflect luck because like I said, if you look at the stats then we shouldn't be wining.

again, you guys don't win unless your defense (and barber) make the 2 crucial plays (mistakes) in the 4th... not sure how teblow gets the credit for that.

The only TD he threw in the game the receiver was so wide open from blown zone coverage that even Todd Collins could have hit him for the score.

Hmm, a team with a strong D and a below average QB somehow coming up with wins against all odds. Sounds familar . . . .

Tebow is a below average QB in this league and this team's fate is sealed with how the O plays.

true, but I can blame the coaches for calling a screen run to the left, why not just run it up the middle, it's what barber does and does well. Then we go into 3rd and 6 and we decide to run and let our defense close the game. We should have just ran a quick slant and tried for the first down. Then you completely change the defensive scheme that worked for 57 minutes and go to prevent rather than continuing to pressure tebow. Again, rush 4 against max protect and giving any qb enough time to throw and they are going to make a play, which is exactly what tebow did. Ridiculous.

I can't remember how much time was left but I believe they actually needed to eat some time with game play as well as the play clock, taking 4 knees wouldn't be enough

I think if Chicago took a knee on every play, that would reduce the amount of time run off during the play. The Broncos probably would have had less than 20 seconds if the Bears just worked the Victory formation. Pin Denver deep and there's no way Tebow can throw the ball far enough to get down the field in that time.

There was too much time left for four knees but three knees and a punt out of bounds might not have been a bad idea.

In the end, hindsight is 20/20. What they should have done (and did do) was hand off to a punishing RB who generally has good ball security. Unfortunately, any coach would have looked like crap because it was the right call and Barber fucked it up.

the pickings for CB's, o-line, and wr's are slim (which is what I think we need help in)...but hopefully we can make the right moves and get to the post season in 2012/13..
