Obviously, but what he meant is apparently WEC will be merged with UFC. Hense Aldo will be the first UFC featherweight champion.

Meh. I wasn't that impressed with the pics. She looked manly as hell in that one pic curling a 50lb dumbell
Plus she has BUNs. Big Ugly Nipples.

Aldo is a beast.
I think Gray might just control Edgar again with better wrestling. We will see.

yea, i dont see it being very exciting fight but you never know. At least Dana hooked us up by having Aldo fight the same night, so we know we are getting to see a KO that night

Aldo is the real deal. I would love to see him step up and fight Edgar. I think Maynard will beat Edgar too.
Just found out UFC is back in Sydney February 27 next year. I'm really keen to go again, especially if Silva v Belfort is on the card! |

make sure you guys dont miss the WEC event this thursday, lots of good fights and is the second to last event for them
Also, not sure if you guys been keeping up w/ the news but Rashad Evans is pretty unhappy that Shogun Rua is still not healthy to fight and made some weird comments about never wanting to fight for a tittle if this one doesnt go thru in March like its scheduled, I dont really know what to make of his comments, just dont make any sense what so ever Gonzaga is apperantly retiring from MMA, now that the UFC released him. There are talks of Mir vs Lesnar 3, which i hope it doesnt happen. But seems like both Carwin and Lesnar want to fight Roy Nelson next. To me this is a good fight for Lesnar, since Roy has good hands and thats what Lesnar needs to improve on some interesting possible fight after the merger: B.J. Penn vs Jose Aldo Miguel Torres vs Urijah Faber Jamie Varner vs Nate Diaz Donald Cerrone vs Takanori Gomi Mac Danzig vs Leonard Garcia |

As for Evans, here's what he said: "It's just frustrating," Evans told ESPN.com. "I am a fighter and I need to make a living doing this, but at the same time it's about getting that gold. "But if the gold is something that I'm not going to get an opportunity to fight for then I have to face that possibility and move forward and do some other things. "If I don't get the chance to fight for the belt, I will never ask to fight for this belt again. I will never want to fight for that belt again." "If [Rua] is going to be out longer than May or June then [the UFC] should consider an interim title and I will fight for an interim belt. It's something. "It might not mean much to everybody, but it's something. But if I don't get a chance to fight for an interim belt, then I will just beat everybody in the division and I will never fight for the belt." Dana responded with this: "That's the weirdest comment I have ever heard in my life," White told ESPN.com "[Rashad] is scheduled to fight in March. "We offered him a fight in September; he turned it down. He said he didn't want to harm his brand. I don't know what the Rashad Evans brand is, or what that means, but he said he didn't want to harm it. It's not like we were keeping him from fighting, he chose to wait for Shogun. It's not our fault; Shogun had knee surgery." Really weird shit if you ask me..... |

I can understand where Rashad is coming from, I think he is just frustrated because he wants this fight to happen tomorrow. He is ready to fight and I think he's a great match up for Shogun. I would love to see this fight happen asap too. It's a shame injuries happen but it is what it is. He's obviously turning down the decision to fight now because he's earned his title shot and he will risk losing it by fighting another top guy in his division. It doesn't do him any favours at all in trying to get the gold.
I would also love to see the Aldo v Penn fight. Hopefully this happens at some point! In regards to Carwin and Lesnar both wanting to fight Roy, I think stylistically this is a great match up for both. I think it's great preparation leading into a title fight as I think they both have the ability to beat Roy comfortably but also test themselves against a well-rounded bigger HW. I really can't wait to see the Machida v Rampage fight. I don't know what's next for Rampage if he loses. I'm used to seeing more trash talk from Rampage but I think he's biting his tongue. Also keen to see the Nate Marquadt fight, I think he's one of the most well-rounded fighters in the MW. IMHO he would be a great rematch for Silva. |

I think BJ would get his ass from Aldo. Faster, stronger, more power and a black belt in bjj too. The ? is, who would go up or who would drop?

I think Rashad is a wuss of a fighter and is going to get owned by Shogun whenever it does happen. All he does is dance around the ring and "counter-punch". Boring. He needs to quit whining about his title shot. What does that mean.. "if he doesn't get a shot right away he's never going for the title again". What the hell is that supposed to mean? Moron.
LOL @ "BJ would get his ass from Aldo". Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Oh, I was just laughing at the way you worded the statement lol. Not agreeing or dissagreeing. However, I think BJ in his prime would make for a great fight against Aldo. If he were to perform like he did against Edgar, i'd say Aldo all the way.
