That is true my friend. A $100 isn't what it used to be. That said, it's still all a matter of perspective.

I own quite a few Porsche Design items. Jackets, belts, shoes, and shirts. Porsche Design is quite an unknown brand here in the states. Very few people actually recognize the stuff.

She has asked me many times what the symbol on my polo and belt stand for. Told her about it and even took her to a store, back when there were any in Chicago.

This topic comes up very often, when we meet, and from my understanding, she still doesn't have anything of the brand.

So, as a nice gesture, I got her a nice shirt, in her favorite color teal.

Not the fanciest gift, but definitely a thought provoking one.
