8 Hours is for me the amount of sleep for 2 days during week days , too busy in the madhouse .. Need 8 hours as well , it's good for a hormone boost production . EDIT : Check this out => post 27 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...1269569&page=2

There's obviously cracking in the plastic sheath over the rotor permanent magnet, which was extremely strong, and there was a plastic collar on the rotor shaft behind the impeller that was broken and crumbled, but that may have been from me disassembling it. The three leads to the motor windings were broken, but that could have just been from me taking the halves apart. The control electronics were very delicate looking, with 3 different places where tiny little solder leads jumped between the different boards. Seemed like possible weak points. But I didn't observe any noticeable burned out sections, then again I'm no EE. It did have this awesome clear gel conformal coating over it that would stick to your finger and then flow back into its original spot. Also, the inductor/capacitor pair was kinda cool in how it was assembled into that plastic tray, staked in place with rtv, then dropped into the assembly as one piece. I didn't have a small enough torx bit to remove it. The motor didn't function at all when removed, and after looking at it it seems like an electrical failure, not a mechanical one. |

Yeah I see that crack now. I used to do a lot of aquarium stuff and whenever a pump stopped working I would take it apart to see why. Very common to see rotor magnet cover damaged. Usually bad enough to contact magnets.

Most pumps I've seen had magnets incapsulated within the housing, so they weren't visible. A plastic button on top and bottom would hold rotor shaft in place.

I could never understand how the rotor magnet spinning is cooling water could become damaged. But it was always damaged if pump failed. These were up to 500gal/hr and this pump is probably 5gal/min or more.

The biggest pump I've used was 1/2hp and ran 25gal/min at 30ft head. A monster. Hasn't failed yet(although the volute was leaking)and will be interested to see when it does. Ran constantly for over 3 years so far.

Don't think this is possible in Finland for the moment .
Same thing here in Belgium...This week we saw only rain , and not kinda normal rain....Floods of it . The amount of one month of rain => In one single hour ! Streets were changed in rivers , and I saw fish on the roads , no joke . Took my Mini and it drove through the whole shit !

I've had my M235i for over a year an a half. Feel free to ask any questions. To me, the 435 was sloppy in comparison. Plus, the steering in the 235 felt juuuust a bit more communicative than the 435.
Why not wait for the B58 variants? Hear that motor is a beast. Out of the box, I felt the M235i was a bit tame in terms of power. It took full bolt-on for the acceleration to put a smile on my face. |
