Thank you Wolf. I have been very fortunate. It is a terrible addiction, but one that I try to indulge as often as possible

Watches and fountain pens
I think they are related, somehow. Fountain pen nibs are precision artwork.
That being said, I favor a Pelikan Souveran 1000 with a 3B nib in my pocket; I wear a YES watch most of the time and a Citizen ECO otherwise. I'm also known to carry an 1880s Elgin pocket watch (key wind) on a chain on the rare occasion I want to go old school. It's tough using a fountain pen when you are left handed but yet I persevere.

The Reversos are small watches. I was considering the Grande Reverso Duo like "the 1" has, gorgeous watch and decent size. If you like big watches though, they might not be big enough.

Heres one of my pieces. Not the best, but i like it. Wife calls it my old mans watch. I wear it everyday so it gets beat up. Im getting my money out of it. It needs a new band. Gonna be doing that here soon.

I'd never noticed that the bracelet links on the Montblanc were like that. I have mixed feelings about their watches as I have a Minerva 140 AE and Swatch killed off the Minerva brand to give Montblanc an in house manufacturing facility. Do you have a bunch of identical Meisterstucks, or is there a difference in each one you have in that pic? My advanced Spidey-Sense tells me at least one of those is bigger than the others.

My pen collection isn't terribly extravagant. I don't own any writer's editions or special editions. I do have some duplicates, but they all vary in one way or another. I get that question a lot: "Why do you have a bunch of the same pen?" Pretty much all of them differ in some way: fountain/rollerball/ballpoint, larger/smaller, extra-fine/fine/medium/broad/oblique nibs. |

the Grand Reverso Duo and other Duo watches are reasonably sized, but are slim giving them the illusion of being smaller. (depending what you like.) but the 1931 tribute line of watches are on the small side, much classier. I have a duo and a tribute. I wear each depending on my mood and confidence level for the day. I've gotten used to wearing smaller watches more recently, and wouldn't hesitate recommending to get a smaller watch. I'm 6'4 and about 215lbs, and the small watches still look good on me with my big wrists. So, when it comes to small watches, the size of person doesn't really apply. But when it comes to smaller people wearing bigger watches, it looks like the person is just trying to be flashy. Just food for thought. I personally would take the JLC over the M3 if you already have a Z4 Mind you, I no longer drive a BMW so my opinion is moot. also, all that being said. I do like your choice of the E46 over the E92 style, looks much neater in my opinon, and I like the I6 |
