My milk expired today. Does this mean that it's still good through the rest of the day? or is it officially expired? I'm thinking I may be good to midnight.

The expiration date is always a "sell by" expiration date - not a "use by" expiration date.

I believe as a rule of thumb the "use by" expiration date is 4-5 days beyond the "sell by" expiration date.

When in doubt...use your nose.

Milk should not taste fruity. If it does...well, you know.

^Holiday is undoubtedly ruined. You may have to get a custom tablecloth made ...I feel for you.

I ran out of an ingredient for a dish I was making, but the supermarket that has pretty much everything known to man is at least 5 minutes away. I just don't feel like driving my BMW to get there because puddles are everywhere from the rain last night. I'm so torn.

It's finally a sunny Sunday in Washington state, and my SL600 is at the dealership for an annual service.

Check out a boating supply shop. Maybe a jib or a small mainsail would work.

Oh man, I feel bad when I read about unfortunates like you. No rain car? How tough is that?

It is just so stressful; I don't think anyone could understand the depths of my feelings on the matter.

You should definitely crowd fund a rain-beater. Your story is so sad you'd rake in enough for a decent 1er at least. I've seen people pull in thousands with much less painful predicaments.

Up until now I didn't have any hopes at all. I can actually make this sadder - I injured my right hand last week and ever since, it has hurt to shift (a little bit). I would have gotten it looked at, but it was raining the day of the injury and ... you know...

(so, maybe enough for an X1?)

I have a problem with my Muller Greek yogurts.

I like to eat the yogurt at the coffee table when I watch TV. So I usually take the yogurt from the fridge and a spoon and sit down. THEN I peel off the top wrapper. But when you peel off the top wrapper it curls up and there is yogurt on the bottom of it. So you can't put it down on the coffee table without getting yogurt on the table (then you'd have to get a paper towel and wipe it off). So before I eat my yogurt I have to get up and go over to the trash can to dispose of the wrapper. If you peel off the wrapper only 90% and leave it attached to the cup, it gets in the way of eating the yogurt. Sometimes you get a little bit on the handle of the spoon. Now the only way to help my sad life is to break this habit of sitting down before taking the wrapper off the yogurt.

So many yogurt eaters here in OT. And people say we're uncultured.

Yesterday at the very last minute my mom decided she didn't want to drive. She lives an hour away. I spent four hours on the road for a 2 hour dinner.

Pulled off the highway on the way home last night for a make out session with my GF in the z4, let's just say I should have drove the Jeep!

I feel your pain... I get cock blocked by my own car far too often. The solution: have GF drive her car, but who wants to get freaky on cloth seats....yuck.

I've already exposed and cried a river on another thread about my current dilemma. The wifey's stupid immigrant nephew keeps using my ice sphere's for his water bottle before his marathon workouts. So when I get home from toiling for 2 or 3 hours a day I have to drink scotch with regular ice cubes. Completely unacceptable and barbaric!

I hit the university food court early today to beat the crowd and was surprised to see every food line stuffed with grade school kids. Argh. I hate it when these visiting groups screw up the food court. I ended up with a pre-made sandwich. Day is ruined.

My day continues to deteriorate. My office fridge went haywire and everything in there is frozen solid. I was looking forward to coffee this afternoon and now my half & half is ice cream.
