The whole scene was a joke with pulling prolly a 50 ton vault with 2 challengers, destroying banks, cars, and telephone poles with thin metal ropes. Also apparently when you wipe out cars with a vault your car just keeps going straight like nothing happened. The bitches in the movies were definitely hot though, especially at that car show, MY GOD. Tyrese and Ludo were funny. Definitely was disappointed not to see the already mentioned race, and overall I thought there were politics and "Ocean's Eleven" kind of stuff involved rather than actual racing. In terms of entertainment value, I still think Tokyo Drift was the best one out of 5. |

Im not very picky about FF but I wasnt impressed. Imo it was too focused on the plot in a way which so many generic action movies are.
For me, 90% of FF's value is cars + girls. I felt there was a pretty strong decline in both with this one...nothing really unique in either department. Setting the next one in berlin may only lead further down this unfortunate path... Last edited by yakev724; 05-03-2011 at 03:26 PM.. |

I thought it was pretty decent. The actions sequences were pretty intriguing (albeit unrealistic, but that's a given with these movies) and it had a nice amount of rare cars.

I just appreciated the fact that although the feats portrayed in the film were ultimately unrealistic, they were predominantly constructed using live action, as opposed to shitty CGI. Some of was obviously CGI. Saw the making of the movie on HBO, it was pretty cool.

The 200 foot fall off the bridge itnot the water, and the vault scene were over the top. Love MOTORCYCLE BABE!!! |
