Stolen Mercedes smashes through level crossing barrier in high speed police chase
This was on the news this friday. The driver in the stolen Merc C-class Sportscoupé crashes through a level-crossing moments before a train passes.

Anyone want to explain the rationale of going the wrong way 'to avoid speed cameras'? That makes no sense to me?
Secondly I think the title is a bit misleading, this wasn't 'moments' before the train got to the crossing. I was expecting something much more exciting...the police car could have EASILY got through that intersection as well with time to spare. |
