7'38": Ferrari 458 Italia's Nürburgring Lap Time
Tied with the ZR1 and GT-R
Slower than GT2, GT3 RS Quite a bit of front lift despite all the fancy aero gadgets... http://www.sportauto-online.de/super...a-1913091.html |

I honestly would have expected it to be faster than both the ZR1 and GTR, but that's still a great lap time.

THat GT-R is such a beast. How in the hell is a 4k lb saloon as fast as Ferrari's mid-engined latest and greatest???

For 1/3 the price too. That car continues to impress me even though it's hard to look at sometimes.

Bull. Maybe the track suits its performance stats better, or the AWD might just be that useful. The engineering in the 458 has to be on par if not better than the GTR's. Ferrari simply has more experience and puts more resources towards developing performance cars.

Hilarious all the fanbois that can't accept how remarkable the performance of the GT R is.
It's one thing to dislike the looks, the interior, etc....but to argue the performance clearly displays those that aren't true enthusiasts. 458 is still an incredible car. |

this list is suspicious.
i mean look at the time for the gt3 rs, gt2, gumbert, etc... those are exactly the same time as factory claim and there is a star beside the time. is this mean this mag just put the factory claim time on this publication? this can fool readers into believe those factory time are what this mag achieved in the real world. I like to see this mag do real ring run on these cars with a star beside their time and report back so we have accurate real world measure of how they all stack up. |
