ever had an ebay feedback removed by EBAY?

I purchased a laptop female power plug (goes inside the laptop case). Transaction was perfect and I left positive feedback as did the seller. My step son knocked the laptop off the table and it seems broke the connector again so when I went back to my previous auctions to find the seller it says HIS feedback was removed by ebay. I asked him in an e-mail if he knows why that was but have yet to receive a reply. Anybody ever had that and know WHY that was done?

I GUESS it could be because I had a case open for an item that I purchased on April 6 and never received. But it was for a completely different seller and item. I guess they got confused. IDK

I would say click on that "Learn More" link they had by the feedback

The only time I have had feedback removed is when I proved to eBay that it was the other parties fault for the poor transaction and I should not have receieved poor feedback from it.

Some sites remove negative feedback on its bigger sellers. I know Amazon does it

YEah, I tried the LM. It seemed to be somewhat generic. But maybe I will explore some more and send them them a note after I get a response from the seller.

Seems ebay cracked down on the content THEY are allowed to include in feedback.

in the feedback. No warning, they just removed thousands of feedbacks. We didn't know until they told us they had done it.

That is lame... and it really sucks for the seller IMO.

Chances are likely there was a person's name or some other piece of personal information in the feedback.

Nope just the company website - which ebay obviously now feels is an advertisement.
