US Airways really? I have had the best service from them out of the American company's. I absolutely hate Delta.....dirty cabin, check-in was a PITA....but that is just IMO...

US Airways for the win (or loss). Bad service, constant bombardment of advertisements for their credit card in-flight, and now they've sold advertising space on the TV trays -- what is this, a subway car?

US Airways and Air Canada are amongst the worst I have had to fly on. I fly somewhere almost every week 75% of the year so I have tried them all...

Not a fan of US Airways either. Or Delta for that matter. My favorite is Luftansa but of the US carriers its United.
As far as airlines being shitty, I guess people need to come to grips with reality; air travel is no longer a premium mode of transportation. It ~is~ the air equivalent to subways. The best way to travel these days? Drive if its less than 400 miles, take the train if you can plan ahead, otherwise its the airborne cattle car.

Always had an ongoing problem with Delta Airlines. Use to have to bitch at a rep about my frequent flyer miles that would suddenly expire after a year...

Most of the domestic carriers have gone to hell over the last few years IMO. I fly Northwest several times every month and I hate them. The fees suck, the check in service sucks, the planes aren't cleaned very well, and they're constantly delayed on the route I'm flying.
I haven't been flying a lot of other carriers over the last 6 months though, so this may be par for the course right now. My best experience was with Emirates air. We used to use them a lot between London and Dubia and the service was second to none. |

Living in the DC area, I have come to despise United. My company always makes me fly them since they are a preferred carrier. I can never use my frequent flyers miles since any day I want to use them, they are booked! Oh, ok, then you can book your miles on the next status up, but it's going to cost you 50k miles to fly domestic! F them.

I've never had a truly bad experience with an airline. I've flown Japan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Philippine Airlines, and Westjet. Philippine Airlines was the most minimalist, but good service anyways.

After getting to fly on Thai Airways, I now consider all American-based airlines "the worst."
Seriously though, United is probably the one that i had the most consistent problems with. I've always had good luck with Southwest, though you do get what you pay for.... |

Alaskan
I am in seattle right now and I was supposed to leave back to austin yesterday, but due to poor weather conditions I am stuck here until friday... Alaska Airlines is the only airline that did not answer their phones for a good 2 days when I was trying to schedule another flight out of here/get a refund....
Merry christmas... I will miss my family almost as much as I will my my 1er... |

It's a long story, but I refuse to fly Southwest again - ever.
If you ever get the chance, try Midwest. They have extra wide seats (two per row) and serve warm cookies every flight. |
