I reckon by the time they are released in the UK (mid '09 I think) this credit crisis will have hit hard and there might be the odd GTR on offer for a lot less than RRP.
Great car and even it's looks (both inside and out) are warming to me, though I am curious, how is the ride, I have heard it's borderline harsh? |

i cant believe anyone would consider an m3 over a GTR lol ill take the GTR over anything in the <120,000 dollar range
that exhaust tip thing does sound horrible though, would definitely get an aftermarket exhaust... and if they remove launch control in the US theyre killing the car IMO and by the way... 2008 was the first year for this v8 M engine the m5/6 will be getting the v8TT but I doubt the m3 engine is going anywhere for a few years if they put the V8TT in the m3... what would go in the heavier and more expensive 5/6? |

Congrats on the GT-R, although I strongly disagree that the M3 is a disappointment after owning a 335i. True, the M3's torque band creates a different feeling than the 335i when it comes to seat-dyno, but the M3's performance can hardly leave you wanting more (for me at least). As for the GT-R, I would have serious worries about making that type of a purchase after seeing all of the warranty issues and disputes that have come up in the last 6 months. Keep away from that VDC OFF button!
As for the whole NA vs. FI thing, BMW M has probably planned this for quite sometime. They probably knew when they were building the S65 that it would be the M3's last NA engine. That makes me want it even more. FI has a lot of potential, but there is something mystical about NA that FI just can't fake well enough. |

car is great until you take off the rims..then they void your warranty.
someone disabled trac control and blew the differential, and nissan voided the warranty of the car. if you're gonna mod, stay away. if you're going to enjoy it, the performance cant be beat.

I agree that silver looks boring but it looks great in grey, red and black. I dont even like black because it hides the body detailing on most cars but it looks so stealthy and it looks good against the black lip kit around the whole car.
