Wow, you have a very nice collection! I appreciate you taking the time to post up those pics and links, and I'm glad to hear that orbita is a good brand since I don't know too much when it comes to winders. I'll be picking up the winder this afternoon so I'll let you know what the company HQ looks like.

A watch is basically a functional piece of jewelery IMO. From your mindset I guess you could also argue that there is no need for a Rolex or any other automatic high-end watch when you can just buy a $20 casio that will tell you the time just the same, or why drive a BMW when a perfectly good kia can get you from point A to point B just fine.

I had forgotten all about you, it must be about two years since you last posted. FWIW, i don't come around here much anymore either, I mean how many times can you read about a snowflake symbol. Great pics as usual I love Rolex too and also own a 16610.

I love Mont Blanc pens! I traded in my Tag Carrera and am picking up a Daytona like that one for my Christmas present.

Do you mean the ceramic bezel GMT or the all-gold Submariner? This is the GMT and it runs about 6k or so: This is the all gold Sub (not yet available in two-tone or stainless): It runs just shy of 30k. |
