Sad IMO, but I'm glad Mike got the first 2 rounds.

I watched some of Tyson`s training videos and I figured he would run out of steam if it went past four rounds.

It was a weird phenomenon for me. On the one hand, I knew a 58 year old had no chance of lasting more than a few rounds (I have some training under my belt and even going 3 rounds in a sparring session with my instructor had me nearly passed out - and I'm only in my late 30s).
On the other hand - I had these fleeting feelings of hope that Mike turn back the clock a bit and would land a knockout blow in the first few rounds. Futile in hindsight but I couldn't help it. In reality it turned out to be a sad display - seeing Mike in this state - an old man barely able to move his legs past the 3rd round. Not surprising, but still sad to see.

I watched the fight. They are good friends, and Paul didn’t want to hurt him. I think he did only what he had to do to win. Fans in the arena were disappointed because they came to see a KO. Kind of felt like Paul threw the fight (won without really fighting). Netflix sucked.

Not to my knowledge; he is known for mega-punch KOs. He had age, reach, and height on Iron Mike but never came close to landing a really hard punch (any of them would have put me in the ER). It just looked lame to me.

I’ll start with I don’t watch boxing and know nothing about boxing. Watched this as it came up on Netflix and had nothing else to watch.
Tyson just looked and moved like an old man. Honestly it was kinda sad to see. Then again given how much $$$ he probably made off that I don’t feel too bad. The other Jake guy looks like a total douche and I would have certainly liked to have seen Tyson knock him out, but a few seconds into it I knew that wasn’t happening. |

That was a real fight? Seemed scripted to be as boring as possible.

Losing volume, the constant buffering. Kept needing to back out (though always came back when I'd go back in).
Netflix issues and the fact I stayed up late for two guys ballroom dancing were the real losers here.

Jake Paul’s reputation isn’t going anywhere with this. If he loses, it’s to Mike Tyson, no shame, but no glory either. If he wins, it’s against a legend who is way past his peak. Plus, the “it was staged” talk will never go away. Let’s be honest, this is all about the money for both of them.

The undercard fights were amazing, even if some scorecards had a totally different view of the fight than I did.

Taylor v Serrano was the fight to watch. The buffering started kicking in around the start of each fight which clued me in this was going to get worse as the main event got closer.

the only winners in this fight were them who walked away with a lot of $$... that being said it was free on netflix so i still watched it... was it setup? very possibly so... but i would say mike is WAY out of his prime
