Did everyone's time update to "standard time" or do we have to do this manually?

IIRC this was a problem in the spring.

Has BMW fixed this issue?

[Haven't been down to my car yet.]

Ours updated but we’re on idrive 6 and 7, not your iD8. There have been times when it didn’t update but if you go into settings and select automatic update for time, or toggle it off and on again, then it updates. Should this be necessary? No but simple enough fix if other bigger issues are being addressed first, which seems to be the case.

Do make sure Automatic Time Change is check marked under Time Settings. Our M8 did not set the clock back an hour. The Automatic Time Change un checked itself :-o Once we clicked on it back on, it changed itself!

I'm wondering how this will work for me. Since I am getting a US Spec car, and receiving it in Spain. Daylight savings time goes on different days here than in the US. For example ours here was a week ago, not this past weekend. My Mercedes does it automatically for here (EU Vehicle). My Range Rover does not do it automatically at all.

If programmed correctly I would expect it to base it on vehicle location via gps so it sends the correct signal. That’s how ours updates if we’re crossing time zones in the car. Also wonder if owners in locations that don’t change time (some AZ counties in the US and several countries) find theirs correctly not updating the time. Why the US has to change on a different weekend than the rest of the world is annoying.

I live in Arizona so not an issue.

But on my recent road trip, with Automatic Time Change turned on, the time did not automatically update when entering a new time zone. I had to toggle the Automatic setting manually to get it to change.

Mine was fine. However, I’m still having the weird ambient light issue.

We travel between Eastern and Central time zones occasionally and it changes automatically but not for 15-20 minutes after we cross the highway sign.
