So car charged last night . I did nothing different, but the scheduled time for it to end is 7:59am, and it stopped around 9 am ish. I took a screenshot to show BMW when they finally call. At least it charged but very weird to me.

Got a call today from Case Manager. Nice cordial professional call where I informed him of the many issues I have experienced.No promises were made to me other than he would speak to higher ups regarding my unwavering desire to have the vehicle repurchased. They will get back to me.
I was also informed there may be a problem with the software regarding charging, and potentially there may be a fix next month. My thoughts on that are respectfully that is not my problem. I am no longer willing to wait for a fix. I dont believe it and have no ability to wait. This thing does not charge at all via scheduled charging. I am using the mobile charger since last week and does not change anything unless I charge "immediately". Not an option I am willing to do. We will see..... Thanks for all the well wishes. This site and members are awesome. |

I had many issues after update
I did this from bmw genius and got all my issues hope it help with yours Please make sure vehicle is outside with a great cellular reception before performing the steps below. Hold the power button down for 70 seconds exactly. (The volume knob is the iDrive power button) Then, we recommend performing an Update Services in your vehicle to refresh the connection. This can be done by following the steps below: MENU All apps System settings Update apps and services Search for updates" Follow the instructions on the Control Display. Once the update completes, we recommend shutting the vehicle off and locking doors allowing 30 minutes before restarting the vehicle to check the connection. This may have to be done twice. Please uninstall/reinstall the MYBMW APP. Then, please ensure Data Privacy settings are enabled. See steps below: "MENU" >> "Vehicle apps" >> "System settings" >> "Data privacy" >> Agree and activate all. |

Last night it did not charge again. I woke up around 1am and checked my phone set it to "immediately" and it charged. I have a 200 + mile trip today and had to have it charge. I and literally exhausted with this thing. I will be calling dealer to bring it in. I am utterly disgusted with it now.
