I have a black Z4 with shadowline package. I removed the sdrive30i emblem from the trunk as there was just too much chrome on an otherwise clean looking car that only has chrome on the trunk. Now I'm going to take off the Z4 emblem as soon as I can order a 2025 Z4 emblem that's black with a chrome surround.

We are back from the Miami area with another gem! Where my last post was a contender for "Most Clapped Out F30", this one is nominated for the "Make Your E60 Look Like A Honda Accord" award. Surprisingly this one doesn't have fake badges either, but it's too good not to post. Feast your eyes on that front bumper.

Quite funny every time I tried to get closer for a better view/pic they kept speeding up. It was like catching a rare pokemon. When I eventually drew level they dropped back so far into traffic nowhere to be seen. It’s almost like they tried to call my bluff - “nah that is just some X6 30d with eBay mirrors”..

In fact mine came from the factory with an M badge in seven, make that 11 different locations (forgot about the calipers). So they may have well just call it an M230i

Times change....

Growing up in a GM town the 60s, the fast cars had all their badging downgraded.

396 and 427 fender badges were downgraded to the basic Chevy Crossed Flags

The truth is,,, people will do whatever they want to do with their car and no one will send you a request asking for your permission or anyone that you knows permission. nor do I think they even know you exist, or care about your opinion; at all.

but yeah it is dumb... oh well.

I have bigger things to worry about then a sticker or a badge and how it will affect my day/life.

If it bothers you that much...do better at life, you must not have enough going on.

Also, you never really know whats under there hood. might be better than a stock M... you never really do know,, now do yuh? ��

dont try to discourage people from owning their cars or shaming them for doing what they so please to do with the thousands of dollars they spend on their vehicles.

I'm not who you are asking, but BMW put fake badges on my car. There is nothing "M" about my car other than the MSport package, yet BMW themselves put 11 M badges on my car.

my M Sport package came with at least 7 M badges of all sizes....

the badges are genuine alright... probably added about 0.2 horsepowers to my car?
