Thumbs up RG Sport - H&R Spacer on BMW G60 5-series | i5

Guys,

I would like to share some info on wheel spacer for this platform.
I will be updating this thread as more information becomes available.

Currently, I only have spacer setup for stock height. In general, you will need a little more once lowered.

I also would like to thank xmanpro for trusting me with all of his mods needs.
Especially with his new ride, G60 i5 M60iX.

Here are some pictures of his with H&R 15/20 setup.

Enjoy and feel free to hit me up for any inquiry. Don't forget to share you ride's pictures too.

Looks great!! I was scared when I went 10/12’s and worried they would stick out. I didn’t have any reference points, just did my normal thing I do first week with new car.

Great job!

I’ll be going to 15’s in the rear on mine as well and move the 12’s from rear to the fronts

12/15 would be clean and conservative look.

I'm not really that knowledgeable when it comes to car mods, so could someone explain the spacer thing to me? It is just for looks, or is there something else to it that I'm missing? Thanks!

Simple answer is the fuller look and better stance appearance, then the obvious handeling capabilities of the tires/wheels being those MM’s closer to outer corners of the car compared to stock. People always say “that’s gonna kill your range” or “ it looks fine the way it is stock”. It’s personal preference, when my car is stock, I can’t un see how I think the wheels look like they are way inside the wells. Check before and after pics of tasteful spacers and you’ll say hmm that car looks better, a little more aggressive but it’s so subtle you might not be able to put your finger on it right away.

I think it looks great. I doubt that it will sacrifice that much range. There will be a small amount of increased wind resistance with the tire not entirely inside the wheel well.

Thanks for the explanation, that helps a lot.

They are the oem bmw 21” wheels. I’m traveling and won’t be back to see the car till mid summer so won’t be able to take more pics or any measurements till then.
