is it safe to assume that adding rear fog light will not be possible?(just like G30)

One is installed in Europe. So it should exist as a part.

in china we often use double blinkers for foggy weather, it's significantly more obvious than fog lights from either front or rear

That reminds me... I need to check that other thread to see if the U.S. G60 has red or amber rear turn signals. |

do German or EU laws say where the rear fog light has to be located? on my previous Mercedes, it was always on the left.
I didn't realize that BMW put the rear fog light in the center for the G60. Very interesting. I'm sure even if I get all the right parts and install them on my US G60, it will not light up. The folks in the G30 forum said it was nearly impossible to code it into the car. |

oooh... looking at that picture made me wonder...
instead of a wagon(touring), what if the G60 has a Gran Coupe, or better yet, a Shooting Brakes variant? (yes, I'm probably just dreaming... even if they make one, it'll never make it across the Atlantic) |

I went to the dealer today to change the brake fluid. I haven't seen a red G60 there yet. It only has code 150 and is coming at the end of February.
But I was able to photograph the German combination light for reversing and fog lights. Mounted in exactly the same place. |

My one clear complaint with the i5 is the lousy placement of the reversing light (potential fog light). It’s just far too low to be useful.
