M3 is way overpriced here, a loaded 'vert is pushing 98k while the same car south of the border is in the high 70s last time I checked.

Thanks guys for the input. Sparky, sadly I have had two problems with this car in the first month and don't want a lemon.I know what you are saying about winters too. I do have access to another vehicle for winter though. Do you really think the 335 tuned would kick an M3's @ss? There is a video on here of a stage three dinan car with the light weight rims as well that still lost to the stock M3, although it was pretty close. Unfortunately, I am still torn in my choice. The price diff is about 10-12 k which really is not that much when you consider the 335 set me back about 70k. It would cost me more to do stage three dinan than to get the M3. I will test drive the M3 Wednesday, do some price heckling then decide if it is worth it or not. Keep you posted, thanks all.

ehhhh i say stick it out... try to get um to fix it (and be an asshole about it if you have to). Unless they lemon the car the resale value is gonna take a big old steaming shit in your shoe. If you've got money to burn, then fuck... go 4 it but maybe you should consider downgrading and getting a used 335i and then buying an SUV for winter, you'd probably come up less than getting a new M3.
i would probably not recommend an m3 in canadian winters... just seems like a bad idea but hey, its your dime and your time lost stuck in a ditch somewhere on your way to work. |

Funny, I had a similar issue with a 328i.. I think it said I have like 50 miles left on my tank of gas and my engine just stopped completely at a red light. The people behind me were so annoyed. Took it to BMW and they said not to let the fuel get that low and attributed the problem to that. Luckily it never came back, but how can that be? Never had this issue in any of my other cars.

I have a Stg III if you wanna go for a rip. I do feel that the M3 kills our xi for handling. I am in for the same $$ for my 335, if you have another winter vehicle then maybe it'll work out for you. Depends how much the stealership is gonna take from you. GL |

Get the C63 AMG. As much as I love BMW's, I would buy that over the M3 in a heartbeat. Spend 2-3K on it and you have 567hp.

Wow this thing is a beast, totally different experience than the 335. I absolutely love this car and don't regret my choice one bit! Will post pictures soon after I am done working 16 hour days... have barely driven this car yet!

LOL.. whats the difference in price, 10k? If you can afford a 50k car I'm pretty sure 60 probably isn't a problem..

So glad BMW decided to make a 4 door M3.. Still not sure it's enough to get me to buy one over the new C63..
