Seriously?!?!? I am NOT that girl. I am very respectful. I don’t do that behaving badly nonsense. I truly believe in treating others the way I want to be treated. But I do speak my mind.

founds out im a very transparent , direct and honest person (from what people told me , but what i believe too) and its been proven that people swearing are most honest , so I was like damn fck, reallly?
And Ive been raised by a french teacher, so , im not speaking like a red neck.

this has been said, yes oc I don't want to swear in front of kids, but this is very hard, specially when yo do a lot of stuff around the house with them, like working on a FCKING GERMAN OVER ENGINEER CARRR

for real I do try, but sometimes it gets out, Im trying to change bad word with cute one

Grown up without swears, still don't swear in conversation. Subconsciously I think less of people who swear for the wrong reasons (not Tourettes) but I keep my opinions to myself, except on this forum.

growing up our parents taught us that there were appropriate words and inappropriate words. A curse word is generally inappropriate unless you smack your hand with a hammer then it's very appropriate.

Yes I do. And I allow them to get piercings, tattoos and vape. They need to learn how to fit in to modern society.

Ah, the Golden Rule, words to live by. My father drove that home with us and I've done the same with my kids.....BTW I use foul language in front of them but the youngest is 28.

Anyway, it seems there was a couple waiting for a table at the bar with their 8 year old daughter. At first I was apologetic. I would never do that intentionally. Your kid does not belong sitting at a bar at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night. You and your daughter should be sitting in the waiting area, not at the bar. And I told him so.
Did the husband say something or was he afraid?

I've tried to stop swearing after I got out of the Army - it took a while.

When my 2 kids arrived, I really stopped cuss words. Wasn't too difficult.

Then my grandkids arrived. I told them about barking spiders, but that's it.

Instead of rejecting what I say, appreciate you still have the ears to hear it. But this is for adults. Spoiling kids is not appropriate, of course. If you can not express it correctly just keep it. Make a good example only!

It's a gerund as well.

The wife must have sent her husband to you instead of coming herself because bucking for a BJ was the matter.

Considering I don't have kids, yes. If you don't like your little fuck face hearing curse words keep the little shit away from me.

He was clearly uncomfortable. I had started to apologize that I didn't know the kid was there but when it hit me I said Seriously - the kid does not belong sitting at the bar. She was sitting right next to me, but wouldn't say anything herself.

I try not to, but it happens. I'm quick to tell my son that there is absolutely a time and place for foul language, but if you're using it a lot it can easily come out at the times when you don't want it to, so it's always best to keep it to a minimum.

I'm divorced from her and I've made it a rule to not say anything negative about her to them. I pretty much kept to that rule although I have slipped once or twice but only in the last year or two and the youngest is 28 now.

Aside from it being inappropriate (for the kid to be there), at least around here, it's illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to sit at the bar.

We got a good laugh a few weeks ago when we watched a young couple try to bring their kid, who was still in a stroller, to a mainly outdoor bar. Thankfully the bar tender saw them walking across the street to meet them at the entrance to let them know "21 and over, only."
