I can't help but feel like there should be an ominous sound or jingle that resonates somewhere off in the distance anytime someone mentions.....the dark web.

Before Google, Webcrawler, Altavista, and the like the entire internet was basically the "dark web." It was sucky and boring. The regular Internet keeps me plenty entertained. So while the concept of a secret "dark web" is interesting, I have zero desire to actually go looking for it, and the trouble that could follow.

I feel like wandering around the dark web is like stopping on the street corner to have a chat with a hooker and a drug dealer. Sure, you're just chatting, and that's not technically illegal, but you're right there on the edge of getting hauled away in cuffs. No thanks.
