Luckily I'm back in a working out mood.. Usually It's off and on, and I don't do anything for a few months till I start to feel a little chubby. Usually just play Baseball, Ultimate Frisbee, Tennis, and then Basketball on Sundays. Usually 12pm-9pm, but it's not intended as a workout.. Current/Healthy/Goal:155??/Not sure/Just toning up. (5'11) Start: 4/21/08 Supplements: None. Intake: Whatever I want.. usually healthy stuff though. I've been gorging for the past two-three weeks or so for some reason, and wasting money by eating out a lot.. Yesterday I started eating smaller meals to where I wasn't "stuffed". I usually skip breakfast because I wake up right before school.. :/ Workout: Ultimate Frisbee twice a week, and Tennis every day just about. Free weights, push-ups, and crunches around bedtime if I'm bored (Usually every other day), then shower and sleep. Sometimes hit the bag up for a bit if I have nothing to do. Pull-ups once I get a bar installed in my room, I don't feel like jogging to the Elementary to use the bars they have. Might run and ride my bike a bit. I'll update when I feel fit, or achieved the look I want. I guess I'll be going for one of the two.. Prob the first because I don't have a bench press and don't like gyms.. (Guess I'll be working out more than when I'm bored) ![]() ![]() I think this is the only pic I have with my shirt off.. Taken the mid of last summer I believe, hanging out with friends. (A pretty bad pic of us, but oh well.. We were supposed to act like models, hence the head tilt.) I look pretty much like this right now, maybe a little bit more hairy. ![]() -Nathan

Height 6'1
Current: 175 w/13% body fat Goal 180 w/10% body fat Started: Since last summer Supplements: Whey Protein Intake: Lots of Eggs, meats, wheat, etc. Workout: Heavy lifting, (205+ benchpress currently, squats, deadlifts, dumbbells ), sprinting, and started playing Basketball once a week. I once use to be 130 pound 6'0 back 4years ago or so (age 19)! Started working out last summer and was at 160pounds. As someone previously stated, your bodyfat percentage makes a huge difference on how you look! If you are going go abs, you need less than 8% bodyfat. If you are going for bulking, EAT!!! When i was 130pounds (yes skinny shit i know), i did have a 6pack! Today, my stomach is flat (basically lost the 6pack as i started bulking) but you can still see the lines on my 6pack with no debt to it. My advice is to everyone is to go on the bodybuilding forums! excellent threads there. |

I just picked up some Muscle Milk Light in Chocolate flavor last night. For anyone contemplating, I highly recommend it. It tastes fucking delicious and I can already feel a boost in energy throughout the day. I can't comment on muscle growth yet because it's obviously too early to tell.

ABB protein drinks are GREAT... you can do 50g of protein with only 240 calories opposed to what, 32g of protein and 350 calories in the large muscle milks.
Tranz, if I were you I'd just pick up a bottle of ON whey from bodybuilding.com, mix it with 2% milk (one scoop and 8 oz of milk you'll be at about 35g of protein, much better then that small muscle milk) |

Hey guys I played sports competitively up through college and have been pretty unactive since then (2 years). I work from home, but travel quite a bit and have the hardest time staying motivated with diet/workout. The 'competition' of sports always gave me the drive to stay on track. These days, I'll work out hard for 2 weeks and then do nothing for 3. What can you guys recommend for strategies to help stay on track and stay motivated!

When I graduated high school I was 5'10" - 120lbs, small frame. I was very active, but I didn't lift very often. I didn't reach 140 until I was 23/24. For the past year I've been working out, and changed my diet. I haven't taken it truly seriously until the last 3 or 4 months and have jumped from 142 to 155. |

My competition was beating high cholesterol. (hereditary) I am 28. 5-9. 160. I lost 25 pounds last year, and fixed my cholest. I would say 80% was eating habits because I have always been active. Is all I do is hit the gym 4-5 times a week, and eat healthy during the week, and then have a more laid back diet on the weekends. Good luck man
