2007 530I Navigation help !

All,

I am looking to purchase a pre-owned 2007 bmw 530i. I don't think it comes with navigation. Is there a way to upgrade or get Navigation on it? If so, what are the ways and costs?

Discalimer: Am a noob with BMWs ..so please dont flame me yet..

Good luck with your purchase. Hope you enjoy your BMW.

BTW, this is a 3 series forum. you may want to post on a 5 series forum such as

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=104

In a 3 series, Nav and idrive come generally together. No nav = no idrive = no screen = no retrofit possibility.
In a 5 series, you can have i drive without nav. You have the screen, but no idea if you can upgrade and add the nav. I doubt it though.

forget about retro fitting i-drive if thats what youre thinking... its going to cost way too much and its not worth while... just get a garmin nuvi or something ... and if you really want to make it look oem, you can always do a custom install of the nuvi unit to make it integrated within the dash.

It will probably be cheaper to get a 5er with the nav built in.

Thanks for the input guys.. This is the vehicle I am looking to purchase. I think it's a good deal.. I dont really know if premium package includes bluetooth. Also, it says it has a moon roof.. I thought all BMWs have sunroof.. What are the little options I can add technology wise on this car?
