Ok... So rarely do I get surprised by movies anymore. But THIS all-star cast (great actors by the way!) in this unseemly horror flick, has my interest peaked!
Will watch...

I'm a big fan of Netflix and their seemingly endless release of "original series and movies"!
But.... I gotta wonder if they can maintain this business model of high-budget spending on said products and still be profitable? Que the 'regular price increases'.

Not sure if I'll watch this one, having said that they just bumped up Netflix monthly amount to $11.99/month in Canada, still a bargain in my view.

I can't stand their "rating" system and the fact that I can't exclude non English/sub-titled movies and shows from showing up in the GUI.
I don't need to know if something is similar to something I've watched before, I'd prefer to know if it's any good based on reviews. I also very rarely want to watch anything not filmed in English, despite the English title and description. |

This looks fantastic! Will definitely watch and report back.
As much as I like Gyllenhaal and the creepy ass roles that he lands himself in, I still see Bubble Boy and hear "DO YOU WANT $500!!!!" every time I see his face. |

Just finished watching it. Probably one of the worst movies I have seen in a while. Kept waiting for it to improve and it never did.

Netflix does it again. Somehow with a decent budget and great actors this movie was a huge disappointment. Had all the makings of greatness yet one of the biggest cinematic let downs I've seen in a while. I will say that whoever the director of cinematography was did an outstanding job with some of the angles and scenes, other than that it was a complete waste of 2 hours.

Yeah I watched it this weekend. I was not expecting much and was not disappointed. I get the social commentary, but it was obvious and not thought provoking in any sense of the word. Great cast, John Malkovitch did nothing for the movie or the roll though. Everyone else was mediocre at best. The cinematography was very good I thought and that helped with the enjoyment of the film overall.
